Russian math genius doesn’t care about money or fame

Grigory Perelman solved the Poincare Conjecture, one of the world’s most complex math problems, but does not want to receive recognition or prizes  for it. He was offered $1 million dollars by the US Clay Math Institute for solving it, yet has rejected the prize. In 2006, he was also the first person to reject the Fields Medal, which is like the Nobel Prize for Mathematics, but only given once every 4 years.

This sounds like an article straight out of The Onion, but its true. The dude still lives with his mom. He should take the money and move out.
