High School basketball star is actually 22-year old man

with one comment

Last year, Jerry Joseph led Texas’ Permian High School basketball team to the state playoffs. The only problem was that Joseph was a 22-year old man from Ft. Lauderdale who already played high school ball the first time he was in high school!!

Joseph, whose real name is Guerdwich Montimere, was a naturalized U.S. citizen from Haiti and schemed his way into Permian by first enrolling in jr high school as a 15-year old. He told the basketball coach that he was homeless so the coach took him in.

Montimere was caught when coaches from Florida recognized him in a basketball tournament in Arkansas. He was arrested and charged for presenting false identification to a police officer.

Way to relive your high school glory days, dumbass. And, yes, thats the same school from Friday Night Lights.

24-year old wins $1M for throwing a perfect game– on MLB 2K10!!!

Less than 90 minutes after bringing the game home after work, Wade McGilberry threw a perfect game using Braves pitcher Kenshin Kawakami and scored a cool $1 million dollars courtesy of 2K Sports.

The company had offered the prize to the first person to score a perfect game. It was supposed to be a difficult feat, but McGilberry accomplished it within 24 hours of the game’s release.

A million dollars. I’m pretty sure a series of ‘WTH’s’ are in order.

Teen jumps onto field gets tasered

leave a comment »

Some people are stupid. A 17-year old teen ran onto the field of Citizen’s Bank Park, home of the Phillies, and was shot with a Taser, ending the chase. People are questioning whether it was right to do so, but whatever. What’s done is done.

I don’t see what the hubbub is. You’re not supposed to be on the field. If you get Tasered, you deserve it. I’ve never had the urge to jump onto a baseball field, but I’ve got to be honest. When I went to Giants’ Stadium last year, it was such a beautiful sight that i could understand WHY a person would want to do so. However, you still deserve what you get.

Video is below. Pretty funny.

Why the NFL hates smart people

with one comment

Myron Rolle was a freshman All-American safety at Florida State University and his defensive coordinator said that he played the most complete game any safety has ever played at FSU in his 25 years of coaching.

How much does the NFL like an athlete of his caliber? They like him enough to pick him in the 6th round.

Why so low you ask? He’s too smart. Clay Travis explains it pretty well.

Brees on Madden NFL 11

“Here’s what I have to say about the Madden curse: Destiny is more powerful than a curse. Whatever is meant to be will happen. Faith.”

-Drew Brees

I don’t care. He’s still a rat bastard. Jets all the way, baby.

Boxer hangs himself in jail after being arrested on suspicion of wife’s death

leave a comment »

Its sad to hear stories like this. Talented, accomplished athlete takes his own life after complicated situations. Twenty-eight year old Venezuelan boxer Edwin Valero hung himself with his own clothes in a jail cell after being detained when his 24-year old wife was found dead.

We obviously don’t know the whole story yet, but we do know that Valero was a former champion in both the superfeather weight and lightweight divisions, and his record was impeccable at 27-0 (27KO).

What a shame.
