Video: This is The Truth
Interesting video. I can’t verify where it came from, but some sources are saying that its from Campus Crusade for Christ from a few years back. Definitely worth a watch.
KARVT Wooden Macbook skins
KARVT has these wooden macbook skins for only $35.
And when I say ‘only $35’, I’m comparing it to the price you would pay for an entire tree, chainsaw and the weeks of lost wages for weeks you’ll spend in the hospital after you chop off your arm trying to make one yourself.
They don’t ship until May 1st, but you can pre-order them now for a 10% discount using the code PREORDER. Artists series skins are also available, but they look too tacky.
iPhone OS 4.0 unveiled
Apple unveiled their much-hyped iPhone OS 4.0 operating system today. The new OS will include long-awaited features such as multi-tasking for third party applications, camera improvements (5x digital zoom & touch to focus video), and other add-ons.
Apple has only released a dev kit for the new OS and will ship out to iPhone/iPod touch customer in the summer with iPad customers following in the fall. However, 1st/2nd gen Touch owners as well as pre-3GS iPhone owners will be sad to hear that features like multi-tasking will not be available if they choose to upgrade. boohoo.

TSA: netbooks, iPads and small gadgets can stay in the bag
The Transportation Security Administration has blogged this week (yes, they have a blog. who doesn’t?) stating that travelers need not remove their netbooks, iPads, e-book readers and other small gadgets from their bags when going through airport security.
Only gadgets that are the same size as a “standard laptop” (idk what that means, but lets assume 12″+) must be removed from their bags for screening.

New lizard species discovered in the Philippines
Pretty sick. It can grow to 2 meters (6.6ft) long but only weighs 22lbs. I don’t see how scientists can JUST discover this now when villagers have been eating it for centuries, but yeah, there it is.
Scary looking bastard, but don’t lose sleep over it. The varanus bitatawa only lives in the Northern Sierra Madre Forest in the Philippines, and only eats fruit. Not you.
Screech loses his house
Saved By The Bell star Dustin Diamond has lost his home in Wisconsin recently after falling behind on mortgage payments. In recent years, Diamond has tried to revive his career via leaked sex tapes, reality TV, and “Save My House” tshirts.
Poor Screech. I guess he isnt getting any SBTB royalties.
Tokyo bans tourists at Tsukiji Market for 1 month during morning auctions
The Metropolitan Government of Tokyo has banned tourists from visiting the market during the early morning hours when auctions are being held. Traders have complained that crowded areas and tourist activity has hindered auction practices and made business difficult. The ban will last for one month.
Drunk party-goers who have come straight from late-night clubs have disrupted business and tourists’ camera flashes have made it difficult to see bidding action.
Tsukiji Market is a highly popular tourist attraction as the world sushi boom has energized the fish market. Prized tunas have been known to sell for as high as $100,000USD each.
Obama & Medvedev sign new nuclear arms treaty
This revises the previous agreements between the two nations, START (1991) and SORT (2002). I’m sure we all learned in history class that both those agreements were BS and didn’t do much.
The new treaty says that each nation can only have 1550 nuclear warheads among other restrictions. If you’re wondering why nations like Pakistan hate us, this is definitely high up on their list of reasons.
